About Must See Guide

Must See Guide is an independent travel guide to the world's great places, written and edited by Michael Soucek. Every guide is original: we research each place from official tourism boards, the sites themselves and other credible sources, which are listed at the end of every guide, and write it in our own words.

What makes a guide

Each guide picks the places genuinely worth your time, in the order we'd see them, and adds the practical part guidebooks are for: when to go, how to get around, what to eat and the local customs that matter. We avoid prices and opening hours that go stale, and point you to the official sources for those instead.

Independent

We aren't paid by tourism boards, hotels or attractions to include them. The site may show advertising, which never decides what we write about.

Corrections

Places change. If something in a guide is out of date or wrong, email hello@mustseeguide.com and we'll fix it. Data and photo credits are on the sources page.
